Broadway Musical - Matilda
My wife and I had been talking about this for the last few months but somehow were not able to visit one. Every time we thought about it something else took precedence. We finally decided to put an end to this dilly dallying and what better occasion to visit a musical than my wife's birthday. We decided to go for Matilda as we thought it would be appropriate for our daughter as well ( not really!!). The show was at 7 pm on a weekday. It was a brisk 15 minute walk from the New York Penn Station to the Schubert theatre. We grabbed some grub on the way. Did not want to take a chance with my daughter 's hunger pangs in the middle of the show(as you might have guessed these things tend to kick in at the most inconvenient of times). We had booked the balcony ticket- seemed the most reasonable at 50 bucks a seat. However must warn you that it is not the place for anyone suffering from vertigo.
